Confusions, Cosmologies, Doubts, etc.

As I walk the path of Urianism, one of the things I have been asked to do is try to spread the message.  I have found that, while doing this, many people seem confused or confounded by some of the things in the Elyon.  I am not going to address these things since Victory is doing a great job of explaining things.

Rather I am just going to say this.

Its really not that complicated.

I know the book seems complex and full of layers.  It has much new information and other information presented in new ways.  However, this is not really that bad...and I will tell you why.

All you have to do is get up out of your computer chair, out of your recliner, off the couch etc and take a look at a few things...

Try reading a little about Gnosticism.
Take a look at the Quran.
Read a book on angeology.
Try the Sephir Yetzerah
Or even better, try the Book of Raziel.
If you want to read something truly complex, just pick up ANY hindu text.  But I would recommend the Bagavad Gita, its the most strait forward that I've read.
Thumb through one or two of the HUNDREDS of new age books out there...try one on crystals or aliens.

You think Urianism is complex?  Do you really?

Then you haven't really looked into anything...I mean it, ANYTHING.

I won't even go into Mormonism...........

The Asshole

I am fairly sure that nobody really reads this thing.  But that's ok, I really just use it to see my thoughts and wonder how proper or messed up they are.

So....

I'm an asshole.

Am I?  I am working on a spiritual path that demands authenticity.  This means that I have to be as honest with myself and God...about myself.  Whew!  That is easier said than done!

I am looking at things I post.  Things I remember having said and done in my past.  I am hearing things from people, things that were said about me in the past and are only now being told to me.  I am discovering a capacity to be just a great big asshole.

This changes things.

Cause if I'M the asshole, maybe those people who screwed me over in my past actually had good reason.  Maybe THEY were the victims, not me.

I've never been a big guy.  Only about 5'6 to 5'7...depending on my back and how compressed it is that day.  My job gives me strength, but nothing like a redneck or an athlete.  I've worn glasses since 3rd grade.  I've always thought of myself as the little guy with glasses that had to watch out for the assholes.

But now I'm discovering I am one myself.  Goodness.

There are more ways to be an asshole, than just a physical bully.  Even little guys like me can be assholes with sarcasm, jibes and veiled insults.  Emotions are much easier to play with than Kung Fu.  Being small and geeky, I've always relied on my wits to be safe and feel superior.

Authentically, I can say, I'm not much.  I'm like the town of Anatevka in the movie Fiddler on the Roof..."a little bit of this, a little bit of that"...but not a lot of anything.

Time for another personal inventory, with this new awareness of self to help me out.  Maybe some day I will get to where God wants me to be.

Nice thoughts rambler.

Quick rant, confusion reigns

Just a quick rant today.

I've spent some time wondering why Urianism doesn't seem to be catching on very well.  It has been slow going.  Sometimes I believe that people are just inherently lazy and don't want to entertain new ideas, let alone do the work necessary to grow.

So many people out there that want to be special.  They want to be angels in the flesh, psychic, genius, oracles etc.  but none of them want to actually put in the work necessary to become those things.

Kind of like the guy sitting at home, smoking his pot and lamenting about how he should be a doctor or rock star by now...but all he does is sit there.

Thats all today.

What a Urian is...and isn't

Just what is all this stuff anyway?  What do we mean when we say "Urian"?  How does one determine if they are Urian?

The Elyon tells us that "Urian" means "from heaven".  However, this is not to be taken literally.  Uriel, through the Elyon, is not telling us that we are angels.

No.

Many people in many religions and within the new age movement wish to think of themselves and call themselves angels.  Indeed, it is almost a fad.  It seems that people are so desperate to feel special that they will latch on to anything.

I am not an angel.  I am a Urian, but I'm not from heaven.  What I mean is, by being a Urian I am TRYING to become more like an angel.  Not special, not glorious, not the savior of mankind.

No.

I am trying to bring my will and life more into line with God's will.  I am striving to live by the principles laid out in the Elyon.  I am doing my best to make God the center of my life and live according to the 20 laws of Urianism.

This is what it means to be a Urian.

It means that I do the 7 devotions as often as I can, every day.   It means I believe that the Elyon is the path for me.  It means that I am working my way upward.

The Elyon tells us throughout, what a Urian should be.

The book is even more clear on what is NOT a Urian.  A Urian is not someone who has sex outside of marriage, especially adultry.  A urian does not promote a secular or hedonistic agenda.  A Urian does not believe that all religions are true.  A Urian....well, you get the picture, and can do your own reading, for the Elyon also tells you not to listen to what anyone would tell you about what is in the book, but to read it for yourself.

I have included just a few passages from the book.  However, I must strongly urge....

I repeat, strongly urge, anyone who would call themselves Urian...to read THE WHOLE BOOK, before you decide to call yourself Urian.

Monologue 23
Urians are to strive to be like People From Heaven, and as
Children of the Most High (Psalm 82:6, Gal. 3:26-29), and this
instruction is sent to transform every soul and spirit of man into an
angel (a child of God) in the hour of resurrection, which is death to
matter and flesh, and birth into true spiritual existence. To be born
again of truth and spirit, is to become a living soul.

Monologue 36
In sincerely and faithfully adhering to what I
have given you, in accepting the truth of what I have revealed, in
doing the seven devotions daily, already you are on the road to the
angelic. Already you are a Urian; and, so long as you strive in the
Way of Spirit and Truth, you will remain one, and enter into the
Solar Heavens at the end of your days on earth.

Monologue 45
Urians are instructed to build bridges/relationships with
Zoroastrian, Jewish, Samaritan, Christian, Islamic, Sikh,
and Baha'i sects, rather than to war upon them.

Monologue 72
Urians should make license for those
whose view of God, cosmology, and/or the path to God is
different, as with the other forms of monotheisms, and yet, should
not compromise on core moral issues.

Three Robes and Three Pillars

I want to put my two cents into the ideas of white, grey and black robes/pillars.

It must be understood that the ideals of each pillar need to be viewed through two different lenses: firstly through the lens of Urianism as an isolated system, and secondly, in regards to the world outside of Urianism.

Within Urianism we have the idea of three approaches to life, politics and God.  I will sum it up briefly.

White robe/pillar...compassionate, merciful, diplomatic, loving.
Grey robe/pillar...balanced between mercy and severity, diplomacy and war.
Black robe/pillar...severe, militant, active.

There are many other words that could be applied here, but these will suffice for this discussion.  What must be understood here is that these definitions are applied within Urianism.  In other words, the white pillar is merciful in regards to the black pillar.

Outside of Urianism we have a different idea.  When comparing the white pillar in Urianism to the so called "liberal" side of the outside world, the white pillar shows up as conservative, somewhat severe and certainly NOT liberal.

Let me put it this way.  A white robe Urian may be able to show mercy and love to an adulterer...but would most certainly NOT tolerate them.  A white robed Urian would NOT promote promiscuity, adultery, abortion, homosexuality, secularism, humanism etc.  A white robe would promote rehabilitation, treatment, re-education before violence or punishment.  Nor would a true white robe Urian tolerate all religions.  To be Urian is to believe in only ONE GOD, and to believe that there are only a handful of acceptable religions in the world that believe the same.  A white robe would not, for example, support or promote or even tolerate Hinduism, Wicca or Satanism.

The main difference lies in the fact that the white robe may support exile or relocation, while a black robe would favor execution.  The grey robe would be a person who believes that each situation is different and should be evaluated on its own...something like, execution for repeat offenders but mercy for first timers.

Within the circle of Urianism, white robes may be thought of as "love and light", but in regards to the world they would be seen as severe and intolerant and would most certainly NOT be lumped in with what outsiders consider "love and light".

There is much more that can be said on this subject.  However, I will leave it for now and let others speak.

Saturday, January 10, 2015

This entry is, at once, written specifically for one person, but should be heeded by all who would call themselves Urian.  Please remember that I am not perfect and much of this is my opinion.  However, it is based on the information contained within The Elyon and many years (in greater and lesser degrees) of training.

There are several points to make and I will list them first.

1. Urianism discourages the worship of angels.

2. In deciding to become a Urian, one may be tempted to take short cuts in training...especially if one has training in other systems.

3. In making the decision to become Urian (or even when converting to something else) you have severed the tie with the paradigm or beliefs that you once aligned your thoughts to, and this can cause problems if  not understood.

Point 1: Worship of Angels

I have noticed that a few people in our communities are focusing greatly on angels.  In some instances I believe that people are receiving something.  In others, I feel that there might be the element of trying to get attention and be perceived as "special".

The Elyon speaks clearly to the worship of angels, as follows:

In worshiping anything less than God, in creating an image to bow down before, in devoting yourself to angels or saints, you blaspheme everything that the Holy Spirit, the angels and the saints stand for, and in the process condemn yourself to spiritual rebirth.

Monologue 34

Only the Vanities care about such anthropomorphic distinctions, while the ascendant should know better; and all who turn to the worship of angels and saints, have by their actions only offended the very beings they have sought to venerate.

Monologue 4

Point 2: Shortcuts

The purpose of the priestly training in The Elyon is to create a person with an "Elyon trained consciousness".

When you have an Elyon trained consciousness, you become attuned to the frequency of the angel that spoke through the scribe and gave us the message.  Your interpretation of events, both external and internal, begin to align with the ideas given in the book.  This, as Urian numbers grow, gives more power and focus to those ideal and helps Urianism become more and more of an effective force in the world.  The training also helps focus you, the individual, to your pillar and order.  This helps to insure the cohesiveness of Urianism and goes a long way toward preventing divisions.  From the bible, when Jesus was accused of  using the power of the devil to drive out demons, we know that a divided house cannot stand.  This is why Christianity, Islam, Judaism etc. are failing and a new revelation was needed.

Let me make one thing clear.  The Elyon has been written/spoken and no further additions to the text are needed.  Anything else is merely commentary for assistance in understanding.  In biblical terms...the prophet has spoken and we do not need another prophet....in this case, a scribe....and the book tells us that it will be 1000 years (if things go right) before Urianism will see another scribe.
To the best of my ability, while I live, I will attempt to see that the teachings of The Elyon are not subverted or subject to division.
Therefore, I tend to take any communication from "angels" with a grain of salt.

Do not proceed with the 9th Degree unless you have fully
accomplished Degrees 1-7. In skipping the basic training you will
find yourself opened to self-deception and demonic delusions.

Point 3: Changing Paradigms

This is a most important point.  I have seen it at work with everyone who finds their way to this path.  Even when they do not fully embrace it.

When you have read The Elyon or listened to the audio versions, you have been given information that you cannot unlearn.  It is now a part of your consciousness and will forever color your thinking.  Even if you consciously reject it, your spirit within has the information and may choose to cast you off as a worn out old garment when you finally die.  And we will all die.

When you came to us, you had attached to you, a cord or string or tentacle...call it what you will...that connected you to the collective that most closely mirrored your thoughts and feelings.  This is your puppet master, the over-mind, the god of your heart.

For many of us, when we made the decision to follow this path, there was resistance.  Resistance in our hearts, minds, friends, families, etc.  This is because you were attuned to a particular paradigm or system of ideas and beliefs.  When you made the decision to change, that paradigm (over-mind) resisted.  In The Elyon, there are illustrations at the back that show this.  The connection with your paradigm was severed and a new connection with a new paradigm was forged.

However, you brought with you many things that did not fit within the new paradigm.  Ideas, thoughts, judgments, beliefs, feelings, loves, hates...etc.

There then follows a period I call "The Fire".

This is the period when your old world wants you back and your new world wants to keep you.  This is a fight, and it is a fight for your spirit and soul.  Therefore it is one of the most important and difficult fights you can have in your entire life.  For the outcome will determine where you go in death.

For me, I went through a ritualized process.  I burned all the things associated with my old path and dedicated myself to this path.  It was not easy.  Many of the things I had, did not just leave.  I still had my old filters and all my old desires and wants.  The old world constantly tried to get me back, in the form of dreams, friends and family trying to talk me out of it and speaking against my new path.  I cannot convey, with simple typed words, the emotional pain and upheaval I went through during this phase, a phase that lasted several years.

Many of you, right now, have thoughts, ideas, feelings...that you do not want to get rid of.  You have a way you believe the universe works and what God is, etc.  Adopting the thinking, the paradigm of The Elyon will not be easy.

I say again, it will not be easy...even if you read and fully accept what you read.

The old world, the old paradigm, the old master...will want you back and your life will not get better, it may even get harder.  For Urianism teaches us that there is no magic pill, no quick prayer, no instant one time salvation.  Urianism teaches us that the bad guys can win and that our salvation is an ongoing process.

Urianism is not for the faint of heart.  It is a path for those who would cast off old ideas that keep us chained on the wheel of reincarnation.  But nothing of value comes without cost.  It must be worked for.  Uriel tells us, that in any given generation, only 1% of 1% reach a place where they get out of this prison we call our universe.

What percent do you want to be?

What does Urianism have to offer?

So I begin tonight with a new thread idea.  That of moving away from accusation and blaming behavior to witnessing for Urianism.  I will work on focusing not on how I think other systems have failed, but what Urianism can do to help us all succeed.

This first one will be short, since I'm also trying to learn how to say things more clearly and simply instead of rambling.

Urianism offers many things, but tonight I will speak about the 20 laws.

The 20 laws give us clear guidelines on how to live.  Its that simple.  They cover some things that I believe were left out of the 10 commandments because they just were not that big a part of the culture at the time.

For example...

Abortion.  Touchy subject I know.  Abortion is forbidden except in cases of rape and incest and extreme danger to the mother.  Why?  It is simple.  Killing an unborn or partially born baby is not the behavior of responsible people.  Abortion should not be used as emergency birth control for people who are without the ability to control themselves or use actual birth control methods.

They say that a woman's body is her own.  If that is true, what about the infant?  Isn't the infant's body his/her own?  Doesn't it follow that if the woman has the right to determine what happens to her body that the infant has the same right as well?

Simply, abortion for reasons other than rape or incest is a selfish and irresponsible act.

In a Urian nation, no spirit needs fear being aborted simply to please the whims of the mother.  In a Urian nation, governed by the 20 laws, children would be born into the life of a married man and woman.

That's it for tonight, just a beginning....
